REGISTRATION CONDITIONS 2024-2025

NOTE: Be sure to read our academy policies before signing up for a course!

 

ART.1 / CONTRIBUTIONS

PRICE CHILDREN AND TEENS COURSES

Registration fees for each school cycle 50chf p/student

1 LESSON PER WEEK 120 CHF month

(ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION Sept-June only)

2 LESSONS PER WEEK 195 CHF month

(ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION Sep-June only)

3 LESSONS PER WEEK 270 CHF month

ISOLATED LESSON 30CHF

Payment of course fees must be made in a single annual installment ex. (1200 CHF) or in 2 installments (600 CHF) 1st installment at the time of registration, plus registration fees, second installment in February.

A fee of CHF 10.- is charged for late payments of 10 days. A supplement of CHF 10.- will be invoiced for each 30 days of late payment.

*Please note, there are NO REFUNDS once registrations and fees are processed and paid. TUITION AND FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE.

  1. School fees take into account holidays and public holidays, these are therefore not deductible.
  2. Payment can be made by bank transfer or in cash directly to the Academy in a closed envelope, mentioning the name and surname of the student with the exact amount and the period (for example, MARTINA HINGIS FEB-JUNE) .
  3.  A 20% family discount is granted to the second child of the same family.* One discount per family only.
  4. Any tuition fees paid are non-refundable even in the event of a fortuitous event beyond our control. If access to the studio is no longer possible, online courses will be set up.
  5. Possibility of opening a class for children with the schedule of your choice (subject to availability of schedule) for a group with a minimum of 6 participants*

ART.2 / REGISTRATIONS

  1. Parents are requested to complete the online registration form and read the registration conditions carefully. Your child's registration will be finalized by completing the form on the website and covering the registration fee.
  2. The acceptance of the general conditions of the parents is obligatory on the site.
  3. The online signed form serves as a commitment for the entire school year (September - June). A copy of the registration will then be sent to you by email in order to sign it and must be given to the school directly to the teacher or by mail during the first lesson.
  4. The school accepts registrations during the year, depending on the places available, under the same conditions.
  5. There is no possibility of exchanging schedules. The group where your child is registered is the group where he must come during the school year.
  6. The school reserves the right to refuse registration or re-registration.

ART.3 / ABSENCES AND RESIGNATIONS

  1. As the school undertakes to provide quality teaching throughout the school year, the student also undertakes to attend classes regularly from September to June.
  2. The pupil or his legal representative is invited to inform the school of his absence from class. Absences are non-refundable and are not exempt from payment.
  3. In the event of force majeure (accident / illness requiring a stoppage of more than four weeks) and on the basis of a medical certificate, the school undertakes to defer the balance of the lessons. In this case, the certificate must be sent to us at the latest in the month following the stoppage, otherwise the amount remains due.
  4. 4 continuous absences without notice constitute grounds for exclusion from the group.
  5. No resignation will be accepted without 2 months notice. After this period, the 2 month fee remains due.
  6. There will be no remedial classes. An exception can be made if the cancellation is made by HB dance academy.
  7. Cancellation of a private lesson being scheduled is possible with 24 hours notice, otherwise the lesson remains due.
  8. A minimum of 6 students is required to open a group. In the event that a group is not complete, time options will be offered to students already registered.

ART.4 / IMAGE RIGHTS.

Unless otherwise advised by the child's legal representative (by e-mail before the first day of class after registration), the management reserves the right to use photographic or filmed images in class, camps or during shows for its communication (website official of our school, brochures and programs, social networks).

The school is not responsible for the dissemination of images taken by persons not expressly authorized by the management.

It is forbidden to film or take photos from the windows.

ART.5 / RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SCHOOL

  1. The academy will always seek the safety of its students, which is why we ask that you always have your child accompanied by an adult at the entrance, at the end of the course.
  2. The school does not cover the risks of illness and accident, each student must be personally insured.
  3. The school is not responsible for any damages, accidents, bodily injuries caused or suffered during lessons or performances, as well as que of possible thefts in the dressing room and in the studio. It is advisable not to leave any valuables in the classroom (purses, jewelry, money, phones, etc.)

ART.6 / DRESS CODE

It is necessary to respect the Dress code as well as the required hairstyle.

ART.7 / COMMUNICATION FROM PARENTS

Parents of students can communicate with the teacher on matters relating to lessons, learning and development of their child or for questions of timetables only by e-mail or WhatsApp. For all other requests, please refer to these rules.

ART.8 / END OF YEAR SHOW

  1. A Show is organized each year in June (tentative date June 29, 2025), a registration form and an explanatory note will be sent to you during the first term concerning the show and the costs of the performance. event that will be requested of you before the Christmas holidays.
  2. The purchase of costumes should be planned.
  3. This event is optional. By signing the form, you agree to have taken note of the terms announced on the show flyer.
  4. Children who participate in the show will have additional rehearsals.
  5. The show will not take place if there is not a minimum number of registrants.
  6. The academy is responsible for 100% of the production of these shows.
  7. All show fees and tuition fees paid are non-refundable.
  8. Only regular class students will be able to participate in the show.

ADULT RATES

CARD: 10 LESSONS 250CHF

*With the 10 class card, you have the possibility to take any of our classes for adults: yoga, beginner ballet dance, stretching...

*Card valid for 3 months from purchase.

*Fees for adult classes apply differently than for regular classes.

The registration conditions for our adult classes at the dance school are as follows:

1. The cost of a 10-class card is 250 CHF.
2. It is important to notify at least 8 hours in advance in case of absence to avoid being charged.
3. A minimum of 3 students is required for a lesson to take place.
4. The card is valid for 3 months from the date of purchase.
5. Please note that there are no classes during vacations and public holidays.
6. No tuition fees are refundable.
7. Unless the student advises otherwise, the management reserves the right to use the photographic or filmed images in progress, for its communication (official site, brochures, social networks, etc.)

 

SCHOOL RULES

1. Remove shoes immediately upon entering the academy.

2. Disinfect or wash hands.

3. Dancers arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be permitted to attend class as there may be a risk of injury from incomplete warm-up.

4. A student may be denied access to the class for the following reasons: unpaid payments, inappropriate behavior, non-compliance with school rules, late arrivals without valid reason, not being dressed as prescribed this regulation.

5. Students are requested not to bring sugary foods or drinks into the room or hallway.

6. Only students enrolled in the school have access to the locker room and washroom.

7. Make sure that your children go to the toilet before the start of the course for a reason of continuity and thus to avoid the interruption of the course. However, toilets are available in the studio if needed.

8. Only registered students are permitted to enter the studio. Parents must wait outside.

9. Strollers and scooters must remain outside the studio.

10. Students in class must be completely independent so that they can put on their shoes, dress and go to the bathroom on their own.

11. Respect the sanitary rules put in place. If a student is sick with fever, cough, flu, he should not come to class. Similarly, the student will be refused entry to class if the teacher has any doubts about the child's state of health.

12. Please respect the cleanliness of the studio and ensure that your children do not run or scream in front of the building and in front of the entrance.

Please explain all these instructions to your child before the start of their first lesson.

 

DREES CODE

The official academy uniform collection with our school logo will be available on request.

MINIS, BABIES AND DANCE KIDS Light pink leotard, light pink skirt, pink tights with feet, pink dance shoes. For boys: white t-shirt, black leggings, black dance shoes, white socks.

ATELIER/TEENS COURS BALLET: Black leotard, black skirt, pink convertible tights, pink dance shoes.

JAZZ CLASS: black leotard, black dance shorts HB logo (pre-order at school), nude convertible tights, nude jazz shoes

STREET: black oficial HB Joggers or shorts black oficial t-shirt (Pre-Order at school of email)

ADULTS Comfortable and free dance, yoga or sports wear.

CHILDREN'S AND TEENS HAIRDRESS: Hair must be tied up with a ballet bun and with a hair net.
